Welcome to the forum. Yep, you'll find tons of great advice/experience here and tons of fervently-felt opinions too. All-in-all, a bunch of great folks. Well, there is that no-underwear-wearing jarhead, however... ;-)
And yep, the Savage has it's share of quirks, but what bike doesn't? It's just a good old-fashioned motorcycle, and tons of fun to ride. Enjoy your ride and enjoy the forum.
